Its a hugely addictive game but my only regret was how much $$ I put into it. The XP and free XP really screwed me up, ugh. Plus grinding really isn't a chore for ships that you enjoy.

Eh, if you're looking for a true battleship simulation (like I have been my whole life Great Naval Battles being my all time favorite)...yeah, THIS AIN'T IT! It's fun and it looks really nice and the net code seems amazing but like InBlack said, it's a ridiculous grind unless you open you're wallet.

If your only goal is to get to tier 10 ships, then ya it's a grind. But that's a poor way to approach this game in my opinion. As far as I'm concerned the best gameplay falls in the tier 2-6 range. Getting ships in those tiers takes minimal play time (a few hours) and then it's leveling up your Commander, which it doesn't take long to get the first 10 skill points, which is the meat of the upgrades.

I was expecting this game to have more than just the USA and Japan. Where's the British Royal Navy? The Kriegsmarine? The Regia Marina?

There is a way to do it in the config, which is stupid why you can't change in game.

C:/Games/World_of_Warships/res and open engine_config. There's a line called '<invertVerticalMovement> false </invertVerticalMovement>' change the false to true.

And it's a fun game. I've enjoyed it for a month or two now.

I tried that, and like many, many others, it doesn't work. If it worked, hey no problem. If you tell me that you've had success editing the file, I may download it and give it another go.

Tried it this week. No Inverted Mouse feature. Didn't want to rewire my brain after 20 years of PC gaming, so I uninstalled until they add that.

That's full blown incompetence right there. Thanks for the head's up, will be passing this now as well. *and was actually going to play it, and I have no qualms about spending major $ if I enjoy a game*
