When my what is sitting on a plane next to a stranger's...? My lawnmower and a stranger's llama? My bottle of bleu cheese dressing sitting next to a stranger's high school algebra book?

Try doing an 8 hour international flight and having nothing but a ruined head-phone jack and the usual inflight trash video's you did not want to see to begin with.

Having wi-fi on the plane would have been awesome and I would have paid extra for it too. When your on a plane sitting next to stranger's, and cramped in a small chair. Internet would be the ultimate escape to pass the time.

Personally I just use it to stream music.

God forbid people can't play music locally on their device for a few hours while flying.

I love unplugging during flights. It is a great time to be able to dive into a great book.

I make it a point to download books and podcasts prior to flights. It's a great way to pass the time. Browsing the internet would be great too but at those prices I think I'll just stick to my headset and audio stuff.

Personally I just use it to stream music. Really nice as you can now use it from boarding until landing. But I've never seen a charge above $12, I would never pay $40 or whatever, at that point I'd just preload my music.
