Oh I don't think so either. It's just not out of the ordinary, which is probably why MS figured they'd get away with it.

It's funny - my housemate just built a new machine. First thing he did after installing Windows 7 was open up Internet Explorer to download Firefox. Then he removed the IE icon saying "And that's the last time I'll be using that."

Ayup. If I ever run IE more than once on a new build/install, something has gone horribly, horribly wrong, to the point where Firefox and Chrome are both completely hosed.
