Point there being, no it's not getting any less ridiculous the more you hear/read it.
Though if you ever did look into that Crysis 2 tessellation nonsense, it is a great example of Nvidia getting things done to screw a competitor. Basically at the time NV had put a lot of eggs into tessellation performance on their hardware so that's where they shined. It's also not the only example of a game with some tie to Nvidia during that period suddenly tessellating the hell out of flat objects or even things which aren't visible.This comment was edited on Jul 31, 2015, 12:43.
