Nvidia has been trying to fix that for three weeks now, glad to see they're on top of things.

I was referring to the Windows 10 upgrade. The Nvidia drivers installed fine as usual.

I read some fixes to get Windows 10 to install, but didn't try them as I was reading the fixes in bed on my phone. Looks like I could have set the date/time clock forward a day so it tricks Windows in to thinking it's officially the unlock day for all, but I didn't get to try it. Perhaps today it will just install fine.

Yeah going to try something like that tonight. I do have a TV connected to the PC so will try dual displays to check whether the artifacts appear on the TV as well. Will also try and switch the display ports and as a second to last resort try a HDMI cable (The monitor is connected with DVI cable atm). If the artifacts are still there then it's either in my mind or it's a faulty card...

Had issues access Nvidia control panel using the drivers downloaded from MS. (Which are the latest Nvidia drivers, but still..) Had to turn off Windaz Update temporarily and manually reinstall the drivers direct from Nvidia.

Just download the iso and install it from that.

Reboot your system and try again, that was my problem

They can't roll them out fast enough.
My circa 2012 HP laptop with a 4 core APU, 8 gb ram and 256 gb ssd, will have to wait for updated Windows 10 drivers and/or Microsoft updates.
BECAUSE:
When powering on, it boots to the windows logo but then crash/restarts all by itself before making it to the desktop on the 2nd try (and only gives an error half the time with kernal data inpage error amdppm.sys . Oh Joy).
AND:
Crashes coming out of sleep, and recovers to desktop. Says windows encountered an error. No duh

It has been public tested for a while now, right now it seems like we are just waiting for drivers to settle down. I updated my realtek drivers cause thee ones with windows were pretty bad sounding. Even now It sounds different then what they were in my 8.1 install.

cheap tablets with 1gb ram, even if they are 64bit run the 32bit version cause of low system overhead.

Ran Windows 10 update and after waiting a little bit the Nvidia driver installed itself. Total time was less than hour. No problems so far.

Installed 10 over win7 on my desktop, where it decided I was running an 8 gb video card (actually a pair of 970s). I had to get into device manager and actually click on one of the cards listed there to get it to realize that maybe it could let me run over 1024x768.

So far, that's been the only hitch. I'm honestly shocked at how smooth the whole thing went.

I run 32-bit on my Windows tablet (which only has 2GB of RAM), many mobile chips didn't support 64-bit actually. I also have an old X2 machine that's running 32-bit Windows 7 with 2GB of RAM (and that actually DOES have a modern enough video card to be affected here). When you're dealing with limited resources, every little bit of overhead matters!

Win 10 installation (clean) went without a hitch for me. Nvidia drivers installed just fine.

I updated my laptop, the install failed on the shadowplay which it probably should not have even tried to install. Trying to bring up the nvidia experience however opened a hanged black window. Done messing with drivers for the night. ^^

Nvidia Installer failed:
You have no drivers installed, even though you installed the old Windows 10 drivers less then 24 hours ago...

Seems I didn't reboot from the 1st install. Everything went smooth as cake.
