Considering you plug in a PS4 to a big LCD/LED tv that even the best would have 25-35ms imput lag, i doubt a few extra ms is going to matter from the keyboard and mouse. Most flatscreens tv's the input lag is closer to 50+ms anyways.

My Sony TV is actually only 16ms. But you're right, most are higher.

Thats pretty awesome actually, one of the better i've heard of

Edit: imput = input

Remember now if you where struggling with aim you could always try to 'clean your balls' to see if that helped (*yes, I know, it was the rollers your where cleaning, not balls)

My Ball Mouse is still hanging with pride on the wall. I stuck with it for along time after 'optical' mice came out.

That Ball Mouse TOTALLY pwn n00bs. (using Logitech m510 now, anyone want to inform me of what I should be looking to upgrade to next?)

Is there any input lag on XIM4?

I mean you're hooking a mouse and keyboard to a translation device... where as this thing in the link looks like a purpose built direct controller with some keys and a mouse instead, and doesn't appear to need any game profiles.

I don't notice any input lag. I play shooters at a desk/monitor. You have to calculate the input lag of the PS4 controller, your mouse, and the xim. I think the XIM has something like 8 ms lag. Monitors have between 5-12 ms lag. Overall, it's low input lag. I come from the days of Quake on a 28.8 modem, ball mice, and 640x480 CRT monitors.

Took me a couple days to get my sensitivities right though. There are some good tutorials, videos, and forum posts for that. It's not quite the same as PC but it's damned good. My cousin and I both got them and we're very happy. I suspect that there are a large number of players on BF4 on PS4 who are using the XIM4.

I guess they had to include something since they removed the Hulkster.

This Keyboard seems to be missing 2 rows of buttons to even make it viable. I tried using something like this a while back that had 3 rows instead of the 2 and it just didn't work well. Missing 1234 and zxcv is really annoying after years and years of a keyboard.

Just noticed the Terminator commercial. Wonder if they got Cameron's permission on that, seeing as it's a shot for shot remake of his scene.

PS4 gains a streamlined keyboard and mouse

Hmmm... I might get that instead of a Xim4.

The XIM4 is great! I use a Logitech 700s mouse and Logitech G13.

Yeah, I'd prefer the XIM, as you (potentially, if the game supported it) have the entire keyboard, and not just a limited key set.

The support on the XIM4 is great. They're always adding new profiles for new games. You can totally customize everything and it supports many keyboards and mice.

I chose it because it supports the G13 which is what I use on PC because I prefer the analog stick over the WASD. It frees up 3 fingers and puts it all on the thumb.
