That other Sony article is even worse.. the headline does not agree with the actual content ;p
"The biggest downside to PlayStation Now is that it's just so darn expensive"
So how does it turn a Smart TV into a fun gaming system?
What does one have to do with the other?
To me the price of something is a major factor... paying "rent" for a game that is not part of a subscription that you are already paying is also not fun
(a point the author doesn't even mention!.. over 100 games are not part of the PSNOW subscription service and thus you have to pay RENT on TOP of a possible SUBSCRIPTION)
Well, this gives an Smart TV a gaming offering, so that's great. But is it fun
to have 2 different catalogs for sub vs rented ? Or these absurdly high prices for rentals?
In the end an experience is only fun if you are happy with it. And being constantly reminded that you have to pay makes it inherently unfun for me
TL;DR.. I like owning things
