Avengers is one of my favorite TV shows. Patrick Macnee's John Steed always had a nice touch of class, and Diane Rigg's Emma Peel was smart, sexy, and tough. At least Macnee lived to a ripe old age though. It always hit me really hard when he gets strangled in A View to a Kill (and then Bond tries to make up with his killer). If only James Bond tried a little harder to keep his sidekicks alive...
