Well we tried Heroes of the Storm as a group last night, and we were genuinely
terrible. It's a funny situation, as we're all pretty dedicated gamers, but we
don't always have the greatest teamwork, and none of us has really played a
MOBA before, much less this game. We had a lot of fun, however, so at least we
can laugh at ourselves (someone suggested we use voice chat, and we Skype while
playing, regardless of the game, so there are always plenty of yucks). There were also
laughs to be had with the beta software, like having to alt-tab to a browser to
look up how to exit a viewing a replay (spoiler alert: F10). Bad as we were,
we're down to try again.

If you guys are losing matches in HotS and you're primarily a pre-made team, one thing that I've gathered after playing HotS for a while is that the "Murder Deathball" strategy is a viable one for Pub games as long as your team focuses on one target at a time during fights.
Basically you all roam together as a team to gank players in lanes and to take out merc camps (don't underestimate them!). This doesn't work well in certain maps where map goals often force your team to split up, but during the downtime, roaming together could work out. Of course it could backfire but it's strategy to try out if you're losing matches and just not meshing well together in separate lane comps.
