Well we tried Heroes of the Storm as a group last night, and we were genuinely
terrible. It's a funny situation, as we're all pretty dedicated gamers, but we
don't always have the greatest teamwork, and none of us has really played a
MOBA before, much less this game. We had a lot of fun, however, so at least we
can laugh at ourselves (someone suggested we use voice chat, and we Skype while
playing, regardless of the game, so there are always plenty of yucks). There were also
laughs to be had with the beta software, like having to alt-tab to a browser to
look up how to exit a viewing a replay (spoiler alert: F10). Bad as we were,
we're down to try again.

Yeah, I realize the world doesn't revolve around my time zone, but it's a little jarring when stuff shows up at 2 or 3 in the afternoon the day before...

Tat Volvo paint is a great idea. I'd suspect it's not good for people or the environment however given its oil based nature. They make no mention of it on the website which only leads me to conclude that is, in fact, the case.
Still, I've always been a big Volvo fan since my first car was a sweet 1970 Volvo 240 affectionately dubbed the Moondoggy. That thing was just amazing. And I'm sold on the safety after an asshole logger came whipping around a bend and plowed into us head on. Loved that car. *sniff*

Level your hero to lvl 4 (on coop) before even attempting a quick match.
Unlocking the advanced abilities is really important... Co-op also helps learn the map types and timing of objectives too. I never understood why people skip this, jump straight into live matches and then complain the game sucks when they don't understand what is going on.
Give it some time Blue, you'll get the hang of it. Some pro tips. Map objectives are more important than ganking enemy heroes. Level your hero to lvl 4 (on coop) before even attempting a quick match. Buildings give tons of exp, if you have an opportunity to push a lane and bring a few towers down, do it! Never stray alone on the map unless you know exactly what you are doing. Im sure there are more knowledgeable MOBA players that can add a few more tips.

Holy crap! I remember Arty! He was an undead Priest on Altar of Storms and he practically live in Iron Forge trolling noobs like me all night. We battled him many times. He pretty much killed me every time!
Edit: Aaawww crap! I misread the name. Artery, not Arty. Anyhow. I had a lot of fun trying to beat Arty.
