Romero's development chops have to be kind of weak if he's only churned out what's amounted to a handful of Flash games since leaving iD. I don't understand why he wouldn't use his notoriety to create something interesting in Unity/CryEngin/Unreal.

Oh God NOOOOOooooooo! Next he will be saying that they are changing engines, then Brenda Romero gets a boob job and becomes lead level designer, then the mechanical frogs come into play.

Um, NO THANKS JOHN....yeah we've seen this all happen before buddy!
With a damaged Panzer still hunting 'The Haunted Tank' and Gus out of ammo, Jeb knew there was only one option, "Slim, RAM!"

I also expect it wont be long before we get a bunch of hippie ass liberals complaining about how this is racist, like they did with the game that became snuggle truck. Before you had to drive illegal mexicans in the truck but a bunch of whiney babies complained and now you carry stuffed animals.

The "whiney babies" that complained were Steam, who told the developer they wouldn't sell the game if they didn't change the Mexicans to something else.

When you find yourself whining about people before they even do something, you might want to consider that you could be just as annoying. Two sides of the same annoying coin.

I do like the old-school SNES era graphics. Honestly, old school 8/16-bit graphics, with all their glorious pixels, makes me more exited than modern graphics, oddly enough.

I will likely check this out.

Wow, this game looks AMAZING! ...and with such a visionary behind it, we might have a genre-bending, industry-changing title on our hands!

No. Just no.
"Van Gogh painted alone and in despair and in madness and sold one picture in his entire life. Millions struggled alone, unrecognized, and struggled as heroically as any famous hero. Was it worthless? I knew it wasn't."
