I predict that the Apple watch is going to be one of those Apple failures that get swept under the rug quitely and without much fuss, six months from now.

Apple fanbois are going to buy one, but there arent that many of those despite what the Iphone sales numbers tell you. The Iphone sells well because its a good phone, not just because its Apple.

This is a mediocre watch at best, and a terrible accessory (since it doesnt work without one) an Iphone at worst.

Fail.
I have a nifty blue line!

For $350, the Apple Watch would have to be a standalone device, (calls, texts, the works...) with at LEAST 24 hours of battery time with moderately heavy use for me to even consider buying it. Even $350.00 seems like too much for that.

Doesn't the apple iwatch have a fast discharge of like five hours and you need to charge it up again?

This is the wired version. A new version you don't have to have plugged in all the time will be in Fall of 16. It will be released at this same price, and then this model will be dropped to a measly $12,000 (but anyone buying that model will be ridiculed).

Ah, Apple...

According to Apple it gets about 18 hours so it would need to be charged every night. We'll have to wait and see what the reviews say about battery life after it is released.

I'm curious as to what the life span of the battery is, or even the lifespan of the watch. How long until the watch is no longer fully supported by newer devices, or it suffers the slowdown creep? Are people going to want to shell out another $400-$600 every year and a half for something of limited use?

Also, screw you Atari (or whatever the hell you are these days).

Minimum, Human Head's current game (on Steam) is an awesome game with a very unique visual style etc. Atari let them get out a few updates over the few months the game has been on EA. Now, the game is about dead. HH developers are obviously working on Lost Within now (and good for them) and a couple or so of the Minimum guys are going to work on the game in their free time to fix bugs and put out unreleased content etc.

So the game is pretty much dead. Thanks Atari, great job!

A watch you have to charge everyday is like having a car you have to push. But I have to hand it to the marketing department at Apple, they are featuring it as "All Day Battery", making it sound not too bad, until you think about it.

Ok, that's just crazy.. Is it solid gold or just plated?

It's an alloy Apple devised that significantly minimizes the actual gold content while still qualifying as technically 18-karat
