Hahah wow! Does it support local multiplayer?

I'm not sure Glaze, I've only been playing online multiplayer. Eric needs to do some more work overall like dedicated servers and a few other necessities that will bond a community..

...but the gameplay is hot shit man, seriously solid game.

You've obviously never played Evolve Matches take forever, hell just getting the game started takes forever. It is an extremely annoying process. It is one of the slowest multiplayer experiences I've had in terms of trying to actually play vs time spent waiting/loading.

I think the small player counts in games today are more related to performance issues on consoles since they're often the lead platform.

I haven't played it, and my comment was more in general: Titanfall has a pretty low number of players too, ditto for L4D, and a lot of other multiplayer games that have come out lately.

Evolve's big issue, which I've heard in several reviews now, seems to be that it's fun playing as the monster, but not as the humans? Couple that with horrendous inter-match wait times (how DO those other games do it so quickly?), and a DLC scheme that assumes that they can sell to fans of the game that don't exist yet, and you've really got a recipe for disaster.
To prevent CV-19, avoid the Serious Seven: weddings, funerals, faith-based activities, bars, gyms, house gatherings and other small events.

TF2 just has so much meaningful variety. I've been playing these classes since Half Life 1 was released in nineteen dickety two when we used to wear onions on our belts, as that was the style at the time.

I don't understand why they've been leaning so hard towards small team multiplayer games lately.

Easier to get 4-5 people you know together, vs. 24 people?

Because no matter what the bling-boys think is important, gameplay is all that matters.

Which is why I play TF2 religiously and have been since it's inception (though recently it's been trumped with Robot Disco Dodgeball - the game is legit!).

Haha, one of his best lines this year.

He's right about online-only gameplay experiences; big developers often produce titles that just aren't rewarding/interesting/involving enough for a long-term commitment, and often at the foundation, the actual gameplay isn't as good as the hype (Evolve, Titanfall, Destiny, soon to release BF Hardline).

While all these action/FPS games are faltering to keep momentum, CS:GO continues to grow month, after month, after month. It's been the same gameplay for what, 15 years? Boggles the mind to see it routinely high on Steam's weekly sales. And the only thing new that Valve has put into it is gambling (!) via case opening for gun skins.
