Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor DLC Released

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces the release of The Bright Lord, a new DLC pack for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, adding story missions to the Tolkien-inspired action/RPG. This is available to Season Pass holders or as an a la carte purchase. This page has details what this adds and we also have a trailer showing things off. On a related note, Shadow Of Mordor Players Have Killed 5.65 Billion Uruks is an infographic on the game, since a picture says a billion words, or something like that (thanks nin). Here's word on the add-on:
Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released The Bright Lord DLC, a new Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor story mission expansion pack, along with a new trailer and screenshot showcasing the content. In The Bright Lord, players become Celebrimbor and face the Dark Lord himself. Celebrimbor will use his new abilities to dominate Sauron and retrieve the One Ring in order to take control of Middle-earth. The Bright Lord DLC is available today for purchase and to Season Pass holders for download for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The Bright Lord DLC includes the following features:

  • Play as Celebrimbor, the Bright Lord, wielding a Ring of Power to challenge Sauron for domination
    • Wield the Power of the One Ring to dominate and defeat your enemies. Activate the ring to become invisible and tear through your enemies from the shadows
    • Deadly new Elven Archery abilities with a rapid fire bow
    • New ways to dominate your enemies and build your Army including Shadow Brand
  • New Story Campaign, including 10 new Missions
  • Face the power of the Dark Lord and his armies at the height of their power
    • An epic boss fight against the Dark Lord Sauron himself for domination of Mordor
    • Face a more powerful Uruk Army with Elite Nemesis Enemies and Warchiefs up to level 25 and deadly new abilities
  • New Celebrimbor Skin
    • Play as Celebrimbor in the main Campaign
  • New “Test of the Ring” Challenge Mode
    • Play with the new Celebrimbor abilities
    • Higher level enemies (i.e., only way to get Level 30 Runes to take back to the Main Story Campaign) with the goal to Dominate rather than kill the hierarchy

SMH.... You can't possibly believe that rant applies to this discussion. SoM doesn't have as much content as Skyrim? That's your takeaway from my post? LOL... Not a single person is making an arguement otherwise.

It's called an example, react less and think more.

There is a difference between main quests, side quests... and just wandering around killing random things. What you seem to be considering "random killing" time in Skyrim is not really, they are simply side-quests yuo have stumbled upon without Fisher-Price quest markers. Would you feel better about the length of content in SoM if the Sword/Bow/Dagger quests didn't have map markers, and you had to find them in the game world on your own? Doubtful.

The main+side quests in SoM take ~15-20 hours to play through, not the 5 hours harlock claims. He is very obviously skipping over ALL of the side-quests in SoM if he really thinks it's that short.

Are there more side-quests to do in Sykrim? Yes, of course.
Is that relevant to this discussion of how much content is in SoM? Not really...
