well you can download a demo of it already, thats a lot more then most kickstarters.
They seem to use it more as an impulse to continue/finish it then as funds to start from 0

I've really been waiting for a good JRPG, so hoping these indie projects can deliver. We're sure not going to get anything resembling FFIV, VI, Secret of Mana, or Chrono Trigger from Square anymore. They've been too busy pushing out cut-scene games with characters that look like they were pulled from some crappy J-Pop group.
