What happened is Linth took many of the arguments to heart and made a change for the betterment of his child and family.

He may not admit it, but I can tell.

At the end of the day, making informed choices for your family is a great thing - nothing was wasted in this thread.

Go read the 4 cases you presented. It boils down to "we cannot prove 100% is was genetic or environmental, so we'll blame the vaccine" with no evidence to support it. They blame it in absence of another culprit, based off a JUDGES opinion, on 2 conflicting opinions. You can read through them. "Proving" something in a court of law does not make it so in science, or medicine. Peer-reviewed research is factual evidence, a judge believing one mans story over another is not.

So, your research that vaccines cause autism: The proven false wakefield report (equates to your italian case) and 4 cases where a judge decided they cause autism?

Versus the endless medical research that says it doesn't?

Like religion, there is obviously no changing your outlook.

Glad I didn't have time to respond earlier.

Your comment is just the same drivel that the media spins. I'll remain against these childhood vaccines until they are deemed safe. Meaning they don't cause any developmental issues in children after receiving their rounds.

And after reading some of the comments in this thread, I really am sad for some of you. Until you've had to take care of someone who has been harmed by vaccines you'll change your tune REAL QUICK as to how many are worth being harmed for the greater good. Shameful.

1. Vaccines are safe.
That's what a project that screened more than 20,000 scientific titles and 67 papers on vaccine safety concludes this week. The review appears in the latest edition of the medical journal Pediatrics.

The evidence strongly suggests that side effects from vaccines are incredibly rare, the study authors said. They found no ties between vaccines and the rising number of children with autism
There are a few deaths out of the 100s of millions of vaccines given because nothing in this world is 100% safe. Vaccines are tested even more stringently than other drugs because they are given so broadly and to healthy people. But make no mistake, there are a few deaths to save millions:
Millions of Americans live longer on average because of the protection vaccines provide. Life expectancy has gone up in the United States by more than 30 years. Infant mortality decreased from 100 deaths per 1000 to 7 between the 1900s and 2000.
Also, know what else isn't safe?
Alcohol - 2.5M deaths per year
NSIADs (ibuprophen, aspirin) - 16000 deaths/year
Diabetes (sugar, white flour) - 75000 deaths/year
Acetaminophen (Tylenol) - 300 deaths/year
Driving a car - 1.2 million / year
Airplane deaths - 400/year
Crossing the street - 4500 deaths/year
Accidental gun deaths - 1000/year
Swimming deaths - 3800/year
Etc. Etc.

You do/take/eat/drink these things daily or frequently without thinking twice. Why should vaccines, which are safer statistically than anything else mentioned above, be special cause for concern?

An Italian court is your evidence? The same court who sentenced scientists to jail for failing to predict unpredictable earth quakes?

Here I thought you had something to base your opinion on, you know, like research from scientists.

Oh, and if you read the GlaxoSmithKline report (which the courts try to cite,) you'll see they cannot verify the vaccine as the cause, just it was reported after, leaving room for failure of diagnosis previously, genetics, environmental factors, trauma etc... And the court wasn't even sure "Based on expert medical testimony, the court concluded that the child more likely than not" ... "more likely than not" sure as hell isn't anything close to conclusive. But again, they jail people for failing to predict earthquakes, good scientific comprehension, I am sure their medical comprehension is just as good. BTW, "The report also mentions “forearm fracture” (p. 614) – even though vaccines don’t break bones." - I guess it caused those too... as they were reported post-vaccination. All the "it caused autism!" was pulled from the tables, that had ZERO direct evidence leading the vaccine to cause Autism -
“Cumulative tabulation of all unlisted events from serious unlisted spontaneous reports and all serious unlisted reactions from clinical trial cases reported since launch,” and starts on page 592. In other words, it’s anything reported. Whether caused by the vaccine or not.

But that's all? Out of the thousands of papers stating it's safe, you rely on Italian courts vague interpretation? Wow, back to your scheduled program. Like religion, there is obviously no changing your outlook.

Shit, I went through all that, all I had to say was (on the Italian court case)

The centerpiece of the “courts confirm” article is the 2012 finding of a local Italian court that a child was diagnosed with autism a year after receiving an MMR. The court, in linking the two things, relied very heavily on the retracted and fraudulent 1998 Wakefield MMR Lancet paper and the testimony of a single physician, hired by the plaintiff’s attorney (widely known for advising parents on how to avoid compulsory vaccinations). The physician, Massimo Montinari, it seems, has written a book on how vaccines cause autism and peddles an autism “cure” that he’s devised.

Your 'evidence' and 'court cases' are just the already proven false Wakefield report.

I've done more (or better, your call.) research on the topic in 15 minutes than you have in your entire life.

It was just a list. I remember reading many reports last year and the year prior of all these scientists dying mysteriously and most were working for the United States government and military. So of course I didn't speak to the investigating officers.

Just showing a link of mysterious deaths of scientists to the potential coverup of vaccine dangers. Might not be the best example, but at least provides some food for thought.

So it's just a list of nothing in other words? You can't correlate it to anything nor demonstrate a single link. You might as well have linked a list of Chinese food recipes and said it proves your point because it would be about as relevant.

Step back and examine that thought process for a moment, a list of nothing with no linkage to anything proves...something? No it doesn't, there is no rational thinking behind it.
