Just a PSA that today is the last day for 22% off of GTA5 on GMG with code:

71P30S-6WV48H-0FND02

Not advertising for them or anything, I just bought my key there last minute when I realized the sale is almost over. Hoping to see bluesnews fully representing in GTA Online!

Haha nooo, my excuse to drink wine too much is ruined.

That Man from UNCLE trailer is great by the way.

Yeah, we're kind of seeing a resurgence of the comedy spy genre with Kingsmen and now U.N.C.L.E. I blame Archer. Also, it's interesting that Kingsmen director Matthew Vaughn is a protege of U.N.C.L.E.'s Guy Ritchie.

Uncle looks good. Kingsmen looks awful.

Not a fan of Kickass 1 and XMen: First Class?

You know that episode of The Simpsons where Homer's conscience is a guy named Colonel Klink? It turns out, they gave that guy his own show!

Hogan's Heroes has been getting a run on British TV. It's not particularly well known here and without that Simpsons appearance I probably wouldn't have heard of it. It holds up well IMHO, better than most comedy of that era. Better than The Phil Silvers Show, which it feels like it draws heavily from. Laughing at Nazis is timeless.

I had always loved Hogan's Heroes and then that movie Auto Focus came out and showed what a horn dog Hogan was and I never looked at him the same way again.

Don't most Americans refer to him as 'Aberam' or 'Honest Abe'?

And you can ignore that alcohol article. They always get that stuff wrong. Look what happened with animals fats. They have people fearing it, everything gets switched to manmade transfats and we have an obesity epidemic. Now they're finally coming out saying they were wrong. Or people just get it wrong. When the American Food Council said the average adult needs 64oz of water per day which they easily get through their food and drink over the course of the day became you need to drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day. One of my best friend's dad is a neurologist and he swears a martini a day is good for you. So I'll stick with his advice on that, thanks.

That Man from UNCLE trailer looks good. And cannot wait for the new Bond flick!

That 'upside' down truck is just stupid however.

Ever been to "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" at Disneyland? I think it's one of my favorite (non-thrill ride) attractions there. A close tie to "It's a Small World".
