Not quite. You're not logging into their library so much as accessing your hard drive through their front end (there is offline mode after all).

Even if they revoke a license you've still got a copy of the game on your computer. It might not launch through Steam anymore but that doesn't mean the files will disappear from your hard drive, it just means you'll need to find the actual executable file and launch it yourself (at least for single player games).
