$15 off is the best you're going to see for a long time to come on this yet so you may as well take the plunge if you're getting this for the PC. I did and it feels great. Of course if R delays it again I'll go apeshit bananas!

Rofl before discount they want what the PS3 version cost on release over here. It goes for literally half that now second hand.

Even if I hadn't already finished it there's not a chance in hell I'd pay full price for a late port (after all they don't even lose a cut to Sony/MS this time - in real terms their making more per sale at this price).

They should be charging half the current price simply as an apology for being so damn late to market.

^ this... a gazillion times this. Don't fall for the retarded hype, people. Grow some balls, get some standards and give R* the finger that they deserve! If you absolutely have to buy this game, buy it on PS3 or PS4 (don't support the PC-raping assholes from Microsoft either).

But who am I kidding? It won't happen. You little sheep and lemmings will line up as usual in your wet panties and hand over your $60 because you just can't resist the hype. And that is exactly why we will continue getting what we deserve from companies like Ubi, EA and R*. Why should they stop fucking us over if it's that easy? Thanks so much!

At launch it was a hog and I quit playing it. A year and a few patches later, it was playable. I won't preorder V, but will buy it when reviews say it is working properly.

Yeah it was pretty awful at release and still sorta runs like shit all these years later. The port of Max Payne 3 on the other hand was fucking stellar. Their lame little social club thing is required for this and theres some sort of unspecified periodic DRM involved as well. Definitely worth waiting on.

People should note the GMG keys don't seem to be through Steam, just the Rockstar thing.

Everyone needs to make their own choices for their own reasons. $800k cash for Online is significant though. That's a purchase of one of the best Super Cars. Or a property and a good car. Etc.

To earn 800k by playing takes a lot of hours doing missions.

For its time? I get 30-45fps now with an i7 @ 4.6GHz, 12GB RAM and 2x GTX 970 OC at 1600p. Crysis, on the otherhand, runs at 60fps at max settings with 4xAA.

I have a problem with the word boycott, its video games not politics. If I boycotted every company that did something dumb in the gaming industry I wouldn't do much gaming.

I do agree that there is no sense in preordering though, I will wait a few weeks and let the dust settle. I could give a shit less about GTA Online cash and preorders benefit them more than me so it makes no sense. Release days are clusterfucks anyway, who needs that shit.

Do NOT preorder this, even if you previously purchased and enjoyed a console version. For the love of god, wait until the quality of the port is assessed and stop fucking pre-ordering shit until you know if they've given our platform the respect it deserves.

It was a bit piggish, for it's time. But they've since shipped Max Payne 3.

Not that I blame you at all for wanting to wait and see how performance is. That's never a bad idea.

GTA 4 was rough, but playable. It was modded out the wazoo (although it took incredible effort), and it had multiple aggravating, unnecessary login schemes to compete with (Steam, GFWL, Rockstar Social Club), but it was playable.

The thing that makes GTA 5 hopeful, is that Max Payne 3 came out later on and was an excellent port. Very well done PC port.
