Dangerous forums announce the official release of Elite: Dangerous,
as version 1.00 of Frontier Developments' space combat sequel is now available.

A 30 year legacy, and more than 2 years of development, and we're thrilled to announce that Elite: Dangerous 1.00 is out now, available for download and play.

Change log for those updating from Gamma:
- Prevent missions softlocks when switching servers from A->B->A without disconnecting from A
- Check if we should use the neutron star's version of the bolometric luminosity first to prevent soft lock
- Avoid crash in creating a location object when it hits a rare window
- Sky box view distance altered to reduce memory usage in highly populated regions

On another note, is anyone trading? Curious how everyone is faring.
I found a route that is pretty good. It doesn't seem to have any supply/demand degradation, but I'm pretty far out of the way. Interested because I hear the inner systems are bonkers at the moment.
I am doing the 11 stop rare trade run in my Asp and stop here and there to shoot some bad guys in the face.
I am pretty low on cash atm though
Haha! I've been running between Igal (Hirayama station) buying platinum or gold and the going to Yab Camalo (Von Zach Hub) and buying Imperial Slaves. They are about 19 ly apart and both stations are close to the star (within 500 ly). In an asp or t6, you can probably do it in one jump instead of the two it takes me.
As of last night I was getting $1500 per ton for the platinum/gold and just over $1000 for the slaves. The slaves have been a bit weird...they vary the most in price and supply. The platinum supply has remained sky high though, as well as the demand.
