Most likely the download will be finished by tomorrow and I'll post an update then.

No caps, but no stability a lot of the time, I can jump from 800K to 5K and stay on both ends for a while. I've complained but I don't pay for the internet (my roommate does) and they complained to the ISP but the ISP declared its our house and that it must be things in the wall blocking the signal (we were able to show the repair guy the same fluctuations in signal from the laptop being three feet in front of the router, nothing beside the router.
The real issue is that the Wifi router is cheap trash but the ISP (and roommate) forbid any router but their own
I think it's Eastlink. I'm in a medium sized town and a while ago they made these big promos to attract customers, which worked. And bottlenecked the lines, but since we aren't a huge major city, they don't care to upgrade. And not much competition means less reasons to care.
Network cable fixes it, the PS4 connected to it doesn't have these issues (can't get access to it). And Chromecast doesn't work well either, when plugged into the TV that sits beside the router.
Its one of those reasons I stopped online gaming. I've gotten used to the set it and forget it downloading on Steam because of these issues. Not much else I can do. But its times like this that it becomes a major issue.

Well, I have Bioshock Infinite and run Linux, and am now currently installing Bioshock Infinite for Linux.
Now to see if there is an executable file... (I'll tell you after all 17 gigs are downloaded...)
*edit* Misread it, it's 14.8 gigs..
And then I remember just how much my internet speeds sucked...

Just remember, if you are a penguin powered gamer, and you want your money to go to the Linux devs, you need to buy it when the Linux version is out (assuming you don't have it already). You might be able to buy it now, not install it at all, and then fire it up when the Linux version ships, but I'm not 100% on that.
What's the basis for that? Do you have any hard knowledge that the porting houses sign contracts that scale their pay with number of licenses sold for the platform? I find that unlikely.
