Light has revised system specifications for Techland's survival/horror game,
which are no longer as steep as what was
revealed yesterday, so there
seems to have been some initial confusion. Here are the updated specs:

Upgraded last spring to AMD FX-8350, 8gigs and R9 280x (3gigs vram) for around 550e so these requirements really aren't that steep if you look around basic computers these days. Next gen consoles are here so requirement's are only going steeper anyway.

As I said in the previous thread on this: This is Techland. Not a developer known for their ability to deliver on technical grounds and now we can rest assured we are likely to get a console port. But of course I could be wrong and Techland can do what they have never done before deliver a sound PC game.
Not good news for port when they recommend an xbox 360 controller...

Yep, consoles have more like 6GB of addressable space that developers can use.
That slime guy just wrong as he always is, I doubt anyone is surprised considering the volume of his past whining and confusion. This game was never pushing any envelopes as anyone who took more than 10 seconds to read the specs and think about them probably knew.

yeh 16gb is super good for after effects or maya or something.. but for gaming, RAM is not even close to being a bottleneck
So I guess they aren't 'pushing the envelope' after all.
