EVE Online Trailer [Nov 22, 2014, 3:01 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
A new trailer for
EVE Online features memorable audio moments captured from actual gameplay in EVE
Online, offering voice communications from players to give a sense of the
space-based MMORPG for those who haven't played it, with cinematic visuals
provided by CCP. That video has clean audio, but there is also an
uncensored version (NSFW) which includes some of the salty language that can
occur in the heat of battle. Word is: "Our players responded overwhelmingly, and
from their audio submissions CCP’s award-winning cinematics team created a
trailer to portray the visceral gameplay experiences and real emotions of the
recordings. This trailer concentrates less on EVE itself and more on the people
who have made it live and breathe since 2003—the players." They hope that what
this displays will inspire gamers to take them up on their
14-day free trial for the game.

I have to say, this is the best Eve trailer yet. Maybe it'll help people understand a little bit more why we love it so much.
If this game wasn't so much work, it might actually be fun!
Remember ccp is the company who single handedly killed White Wolf and the World of Darkness.

What do you mean? This game is fun, provided your idea of fun is working, and/or treating other players like shit.
It's not surprising CCP couldn't make a WOD MMO work, it would mean developing actual content.

If you know what you are doing, you play for free, as you can buy game time with PLEX. My explorer can easily make the ISK to buy a plex in a weeks time playing just a few hours a day.
Then I gank miners who don't have a mining permit. Buy a permit. It's cheaper than dying.

I play eve on and off every year or so. But I only play bot missions, I stay away from PvP, and thus my character has never died or been cloned lol. They should do a European version of the trailer with the voices of all the other countries that play that game.

When I played several years ago, this was how I played, and I enjoyed it for a few months. The new graphic engine is pretty gorgeous, and I can see that for people who like this kind of game (basically PVP raids) it must be pretty fun. It's been around a long time and shows no sign of slowing down.

I like this trailer. No goon coms though, probably for the best, it would have just been lots of "AAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" chains or dbrb talking shite....
