There was. I remember looking at it a few times on Direct2Drive. Nearly bought it a couple times. I tried searching too, but couldn't come up with anything. It's actually driving me crazy now. I can see the cover of it in my head. White background, close up of a dude's face, guns spread out in a circle, and I'm thinking a car too.

Anyway. This new one: I was mildly interested until I played the beta. Actual driving wasn't too bad, but the locals had nothing to do with anything. I drove from the starting city to Seattle. The route took me up through (what would be in real life) North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, then into Washington. Never in that trip did I see anything resembling reality. No plains through Dakota or Montana, and when I got to Seattle, I thought, "are you fucking kidding me? they're calling THIS Seattle?". I mean, the only thing actually resembling Seattle is the Space Needle. I know they can't exactly have 1:1 mapping, but sheesh.
I'm sure there'll be lots of people that love this game, but it's definitely not for me.

Thanks for the offer but I'm good. What I really miss is Tag and Cat and Mouse from the Forza series. I'd love to have a more solid follow up to Test Drive Unlimited 1 or 2, but just not sure.

Haha I wonder how much the Unity fail will hurt sales of Crew and FC4. Ironically, with less advanced tech, and the numerous beta periods, The Crew should fare pretty well bug wise. There isn't a whole lot of there there.

I have a copy of Grid 2 I can gift you if you want. Got in the HB and I have no intention of using it. I'm not "down" with that, as the kids say.
