Sincerely just curious here... by saying it wasn't challenging enough, I'm assuming, then, that you've beaten all campaigns legit on Expert in L4D (1 or 2), correct? And if so, you didn't find that challenging???
For me anyway, playing the series on Expert was quite challenging (and also THE best way to play them).

That's a shame because Killing Floor was a completely different animal to L4D. It's way more fast paced and unforgiving. For me L4D felt like a casual shooter with far too much level scripting and not enough challenge. The initial Killing Floor UT2k4 mod actually released 3 years before it.
Would be nice to know when they are planning to release this game

This one does look good though. I do love me hit zone gorefests!
I can also relate to those that said they dumped hours into the first because that was me with Left 4 Dead 1 & 2. I can't count how addicted I was to that game trying to earn the achievements and just having a blast with a group of friends.

I am so ready to put hundreds of more hours into this game. Starting with the free mod to the original game they only improved KF dramatically over the years.
I really enjoyed the first one. I never considered getting back into this. This looks awesome!
Looking forward to this one, lots of hours in the first and this looks like more of the same... but better.

The game is looking great already, and I speak as somebody who put 100+ hours into the first one. Clearly their budget involved something more than the 10 bucks they had to make the first one, this time around. 
I never played the first one but I do like me some monster killing, and this looks pretty slick.
