Who here has a 4GB GTX760? Mine's a 2GB.

And gaming on 4K (which I don't do, 1920x1080 with a little FXAA or SMAA looks great to me) really needs AT LEAST 3GB. There are released games which use over 4GB in 4K at max settings.

I got one. I would have bought the 2Gb version but they didnt have it on stock and this one was almost the same price so I said what the hell.

I've personally experienced one single MONSTERBEAST of a GPU is better than two lessers. Maybe it's because games still aren't properly programmed for SLI, but this is what I've learned.

Played it for 30 minutes and thought it was boring as hell. Pretty but boring and shallow. You can see it went through major design shifts, it just screams a lack of project management. Between this and Knack I don't have fond launch title memories.

Oh, please don't bring up Knack. That they even made that an on-disc game is a tragedy.

this actually worries me... i bought two 2GB GTX 770's for SLI and i'm wondering if it will be enough to play future games at all.

Your use is legitimate, but it actually touches on one of my pet peeves: people who get more memory on a video card then they need and act like it was a good choice. Drives me nuts because not only does it waste memory (and thus energy and heat), but it also wears out the memory controller faster (and often won't overclock as well) and raises prices of memory for everybody else. Wake up, people...companies sell these thicker cards to make a bigger profit from you.

I say your use is legitimate because SLI/Crossfire is one of the few places you really need that extra memory. In most cases a GPU's core won't be able to keep up with the memory at the settings required to use enough memory to make a difference. Actually, HARDOCP did a review about the differences of 2GB and 4GB on the GTX 670 (equivalent to GTX 760). Their findings?

"To make the 4GB of VRAM on the GTX 670 work for you, you are going to need at least three of them for 3-way SLI, to give you the performance to back up the VRAM."

Yet I've seen people on this very site praise their (single) 4GB GTX 760...yeah, thanks for driving up GDDR5 prices.

Wasn't this designed around the kinect gimmick gadget? I just don't see how the game could be a worth while experience without making it more of a traditional 3rd person combat game.

There are so many better games coming out too that are hack n slash that I'm sure people would rather spend their money on.

Yes. I want this game.

Why?

Because, like every title people on here bitch and whine about, it's not as bad as they claim...

Plus, you know... Different opinions/interests/etc...

I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fighting style took some adjusting, and was too easy in many ways, but otherwise it looked and played great.

Yeah, I felt the same. The game wasn't fantastic, but for the most part I enjoyed the play thru, don't think I'll ever play thru it again. But I'd probably pick up a sequel, if one were to ever be made.

IMAGINE!

"When your starting to get a RYSE, Reach for a Trojan brand condom!"

I think it's worth a shot to send your resume to Crytek

I think it'd be worth SlimRam's time to learn proper grammar first. The ad idea is funny, tho, I imagine it with a little Trojan soldier next to it. If the extreme gore in Ryse gives you a boner though, you've got other problems.
