Looks like my ambitions to do something dramatic in Manstiovia today may be
derailed by wet weather. What's weird is we often have company for Labor and
Memorial day weekends, and typically have great weather, so the lack of planning
for this weekend now seems like good planning, as we managed to avoid invoking a
rainout.

Just watched Jodorowsky's Dune. Such a shame no one gave him $100M to make that movie. It's amazing that the crew he put together (Dan O'Bannon, H. R. Giger, Jean "Moebius" Giraud, Chris Foss) all went on to work together to make Alien just a year or so later, a seminal sci fi film that still holds up to this day. Not sure the world of cinema would have been transformed by his Dune, but I would have loved to watch the film they imagined.

Has the gov't shut it down yet? Surely, the gov't can find some regulation this 8-year old is guilty of violating. This cannot go unnoticed. We must be protected from this scofflaw!

Usually the labor day weekend here(southern ontario) is complete crap. They've been calling for either rain, or t-storms since friday and they haven't happened yet. I'm actually quite surprised, it's also the first time in the last 50 days that I've had to have the AC on, 28-31C with 60-90% humidity.
