You are joking of course, but I also disagree that Ulysses is the greatest novel of the 20th century. Most obtuse, sure. Most purposely dense, definitely. Least likely to be a good game, probably.
Yeah. Spent three weeks on it in a grad-level course on Irish writers. Afterward, I had even less respect for it than the microscopic amount I had before studying it. There's more depth and meaning in any work by Conrad, or any single poem by Blake. It's the Great White Hype...
