Serious Sam 2 Replaces GameSpy with Steamworks

Steam News has word that Serious Sam 2 is now using Steamworks for multiplayer support, replacing the no-longer-supported GameSpy middleware. The first-person shooter sequel is currently coincidentally on sale for 75% off. Here's word on the Steamworks transition and what else this does:
This update eliminates the need for Gamespy since the service has been announced to be officially closed on May 31st of this year.

The update also includes:
- fixed problems with FOV on widescreen resolutions,
- fixed wrong rendering of Uzi weapon in first person.
