The physics aren't as good as Assetto Corsa. They are better than the older Simbin titles though. Depends on which vehicle class you're driving. In some ways it's harder than Assetto Corsa but not for the right reasons.

Hopefully the Ai gets ironed out a bit before release. I am hearing a lot of complaints about that, same goes for Asseto Corsa though.

A question for someone who has played both: Which one is more realistic/drives better? Project Cars or Assetto Corsa?
Is Project Cars really going for that hyper realism? I know Assetto Corsa is.
Here's a youtube link showing off the handling on a '60s era F1 car in the wet. Handling looks pretty high fidelity to me.

Some of it looks a lot better than other stuff. For example the slo-mo shots between 0:08 and 0:17 look much better than the shots of cars at speed between 1:05 to 1:15. Maybe it's just crappy youtube video compression?

It looks like a combination of rendered AND engine footage? Looks pretty good either way.

Ok this look so good it's just effing ridiculous at this point. I hope it plays well with a gamepad because I'm sure as shit not buying a wheel and pedals. Effing amazing trailer! Effing effers!
Good luck playing Richard Burns Rally with a gamepad.
Get wheel and pedals, they don't cost that much and the experience is far superior to sitting on a couch with a gamepad and a fake joystick.
If you want a proper sim you need the tools for it. Otherwise it's best to stick to arcade racers.
