Today we're proud to announce that the critically-acclaimed and record-breaking Grand Theft Auto V is coming this fall to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Grand Theft Auto V will take full advantage of the power of the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.
Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.
The new generation upgrades also extend to Grand Theft Auto Online, an ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe. Rise through the criminal ranks by banding together to complete Jobs for cash, purchase properties, vehicles and character upgrades, compete in traditional competitive modes, or create your own content to play and share with the Grand Theft Auto community.
All new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations will also be available for the PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One and PC with much more to come. In addition, the current community of players will have the ability to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC.
Grand Theft Auto V for PC will also feature a video editor designed for advanced movie-making.
Check out the new video that debuted tonight during Sony's E3 press conference above, and look for pre-order links beginning tomorrow Tuesday June 10th at rockstargames.com/V/order.

Fired up the xbox360 version and lost like 4 hours on MP the other day....damn forgot how much fun it is.
Was going to try for 100% on the xbox, I am at 87% right now. Looks like it will take me a while still...
Longest part for me was the briefcases, the stunt jumps, and flying under the bridges. Get a guide for those.
And of course, the last triathlon, where you hammer the shit out of the X button several times a second for 20+ minutes straight. Holy shit, that killed my arm, and I'm so dreading doing that again for the new releases.

So when they re-release movies in a superior format, it should be half of the normal price for a movie?

I've sunk mega time into online, haven't even touched single player since last October. Even after all my time playing I'm still discovering new things in LS. Just broke lvl 200 last week and still having a blast. Got my second garage and filled it up. I searched for and found a large mature crew to roll with so even running private lobbies we can fill'em up. Last week I even ran an event where a bunch of us got together dressed up as bikers and rolled LS on choppers, was a blast. Even though R* has their heads up their asses on a lot of things, it's GTA, online, with up to 16 of your friends, pure video game awesomeness.

They're adding additional release platforms, not double dipping.
They are releasing it a year after launch with some graphical enhancements for FULL price. Sorry, but there's no justification for this thing costing $60.

Remember to join the CREW!

JOINING!!!!!
Or you could find a crew to actually play with
I've not seen a single BN crew member in GTA online in 5 months.
To be honest, that's kind of how it goes with every Blues guild/crew in every game.
I'll play online again once it hits the PC, I just got bored with the ever-increasing hax and bullshit I had to deal with when playing online, to the point where I finally only just played in a private session. At which point I was basically playing SP without the story, so what's the point?

People here are always so quick to rag on excessive DLC , exclusive preorder bonuses and other questionable practices. But apparently have no problem supporting Rock stars double dipping.

How do people fall for that?
It's called stupidity. Plain old stupidity. Sad but true.
What a stupid comment.
Ppl buy it first because they don't want to wait a year. People buy it again because they can finally play it on their favorite platform. It doesnt take that much effort to understand.
