Watch Dogs Videos

Here's a PS4 launch trailer for Watch Dogs that mentions PS4 exclusive content, but shows off Ubisoft's upcoming open-world action game in general (thanks nin). Also, the first review of the game is online thanks to Clueless GamerConan O'Brien. Finally, this new video promotes Watch Dogs with episode one of a new three-part series called "Phreaked Out" that talks to real security experts about the kind of hacking exploits found in the game. Word is: "The series explores how many of the technologies and modern advances that make our lives more efficient, enjoyable, and safe are becoming increasingly susceptible to attack. Episode One heads to Los Angeles to examine the state of hacking traffic networks, and ultimately concludes that only one thing is certain: with enough determination, nothing is secure." This contains no gameplay footage, though when we viewed it we got to see a Watch Dogs ad preceding this Watch Dogs ad.

With all the PS4 and XBone hype, and no mention of a PC release anywhere Im left wondering how this will be ported over to the PC. I imagine rather sloppily.
I have a nifty blue line!

Uhhhh it's same day as console version and the PC version looks by far the best out of them all. Ubisoft also tends to do pretty good PC ports.

<hate>Ugh, this game is going to be the worst because the PC wasn't the lead platform. Sucks that it's coming to consoles and that they probably had to dumb it down.</hate>

Looking forward to playing this on PS4 but wanted to get the inevitable console hate started for everyone.

Well it's true anyways.

[fact]No matter how good a game is when done for the console - would have been tons better if done for a P/fact]

This is why I don't watch television anymore. The commercials have gotten so bad, never mind that movies are plastered with advertisement (Amazing Spiderman 2 I'm looking at you!) but now even the tv shows are hardly about anything BUT a product they want to sell... even if it's amusing.

I'm glad you guys went all the way to LA to figure that out.

Okay, all kidding aside, just watching this video and remembering the PC launch trailer, I noticed quite a bit of difference. so I went back and rewatched the PC one to make sure, and yep, it sure does look nicer than the PS4 one. As in noticeably nicer.

Yeah. I mean, Breaking Bad sure sold a lot of meth. And Archer sold a lot of... penis jokes? And I guess Orphan Black sold... clones?

Was browsing Twitch last night and wandered into the GTA V channel. At the top of the list was somebody named "WatchDogz" or something to that effect. Anyway, I started watching, and it quickly became apparent they were streaming Watch Dogs. Probably watched for a half hour. Looks like fun.

I think there was someone on ebay selling copies as of last weekend, so as it filters out, more people stream on consoles.

Was pretty cool watching folks play Wolf Monday night, before it came out...

You have no idea how accurate that is. Got the BF started with Assassin's Creed 2 (after not playing anything since a N64 and some World of Warcraft) and while it was sad (but so fucking funny) we moved onto GTA5, and I have to say Conan has amazing driving skills!

Anyway... the old thing that I see that bothers me in the video's is how motorcycles handle (which GTA4 and 5 nailed).

The motorcycles look a lot like Saints Row style, i.e. nigh undriveable. Just way too agile. I'm still trying to decide whether I'll play with my PS4 controller or KB/Mouse. The ultimate trade off in open world games: Do you want to be able to drive, or do you want to be able to shoot?
