I've been salivating all through reading your comment.
So my thought is that I'll be playing it right along side you... but thanks

What about the music? The music and the voices of Bastion was a big draw for me. Has anything said/experiences regarding what it will be like in Transistor?

Music was composed and performed by the same team from Bastion, that is, Darren Korb and Ashley Barrett. So it should be pretty good. As for the voices, Logan Cunningham is also back - he was the voice of Rucks (the narrator) in Bastion, and this time he's the voice for the Transistor itself.

Other than that, there's not a lot of information yet. It's known that music will be somewhat dynamic, reacting to the action in the screen, and there seems to be a lot of Transistor dialog. But that's pretty much all I know at this point.

Regardless, I've pre-ordered the game, so I should give my first impressions as soon as it becomes available, in case you prefer to wait.

I didn't care for Bastion but I will try a demo of this game if there is one.

I didn't either. I like the way this one is semi-turned based, where you queue up various attacks.

Yeah that is pretty cool, I assume the combat is going to be pretty hectic later on. I also like the graphics style and the futuristic setting, but I don't like all those enough to blindly drop the $20 for the game.

It's from the guys who made Bastion so I'm figuring that it should be more than decent.

That is a very strange looking game, but it was almost a purchase 2s into the video (Made by the creators of Bastion). : )
