I tend to enjoy Ubisoft's games. I meant low fps like X-Rebirth. Even on GTX 680's in SLI, I only get 30 fps in some areas. I'm still quite disappointed in that game. I waited a long time for it and I rarely get excited about upcoming games.
The reason the FPS is so terrible in rebirth is because their engine is a giant broken mess. The renderer has been literally broken since the very first day of release. People on the forums actually had to figure out what the problem was, Egosoft acknowledged the bug, and has yet to fix it.
X-Rebirth is going to be a "What Not To Do" case study for the next five decades.

It will definitely require Uplay regardless of where you buy it. All of Ubisoft's first-party games require Uplay.
If you look at the Steam store page's system requirements on all of those titles it specifically says it requires a Uplay account. The store page for Watch_Dogs does not.
On a note, South Park does not require UPlay either, Ubisoft seems to finally get the hint that Steam + UPlay is not necessary and keeps UPlay off Steam games

There's quite a bit of choppiness in the videos for the game so I expect it to run like crap even on recommended. Maybe those videos were made on consoles. Hopefully it won't be as bad as X-Rebirth.
I wouldn't worry about that. You can say what you want about Ubisoft's games, but they make very good PC ports. *knocks frantically on every piece of wood in the vicinity*
I would be shocked (SHOCKED, Cotton! SHOCKED!) if they released a turd like X:Rebirth.

GTX680 so I'm in the clear. Don't care about the other specs -- as long as the rest of your rig is only sligtly above average, nothing will bottleneck your GPU.
