Well I can try to speak for the overpriced part at least. There are much better PC games for a lot less. It's priced like a console game. New PC games of late seem to be selling best on Steam in the $30-$40 range. DayZ is a good example of that.
Dayz is only that price for its current Early Access release, it will be more expensive when it hits release (like they did with ARMA3, which started at £19.99 during Alpha and is now £35.99 at full release).
Also, your comparison fails as Titanfall is a polished, finished game whilst Dayz is a buggy, early access turd with very little game content (and, yes, I have hundreds of hours of Dayz MOD time under my belt but gave up on Dayz (for now) after 4 or 5h)!
