The difficulty of that when you reach lvl 70 is even more brutal. Wow s that a brick-wall to go from lvl 60 to lvl 70 .. I had to take down difficulty down to Expert from Torment 2 when that quest with the death-crystal things happens, I can handle crowds.. but not when fighting a boss that can 3 hit-kill me ;p

I give it though that the act 5 end-boss fight is absolutely epic. I had to think of a char build just for that and the boss fight got progressively harder the lower hp he had.

Either way, loving Crusader too.. 2 hours for 23 levels leveling purely in adventure mode on MASTER Which has the benefit that I get rift crystals for my lvl 70 chars... and thanks to a few imperial jewels low level chars can dish out (relatively) insane damage ;p

logged in at 10pm, go live was at 11pm. I think I had about 2 minutes of red connection and a bit of warping. Then all smooth again. Activated the wings and all seems well. Got my inferno 2 WD from 60 to 64 in about 1 hour playing through act 5.

Cant wait to unlock the next NPC (shes just joined the party) so I can reroll some "almost perfect" items that ive been saving.

Found a few drops in act 5 that have been keepers. Still rocking my zunimassa though even though a few have dropped the old school approaches. Ive crafted a good weapon some time ago and reasonable bracers. Not had as much luck with shoulders or amulet (the amulet if fine though). The belt dropped last thing, replaced some gold diggers (going to swap pyro for rain of toads since it has the % on them)

Another old person like me! And I forgive you for calling me names -- I just hope the song is stuck in your head more than mine...

By 40 you can try out the tanky nest of death type of build. Make sure your defense is up to snuff and use the Brooding passive to regen while standing still, using traps and sentries to kill monsters as they come to you. Custom Engineering passive lets you have 3 turrets and 6 traps, and you'll want Cull the Weak to do extra damage against anything that is right in your face (i.e. standing in the spikes and being slowed). From there you can just shoot out with your other skills of choice, though I'd recommend Mark of Death - Valley of Death and Shadow Power as far as utilities.

You know, if you're looking for something different than the usual kiting style of DH.

I'm lvling a DH atm while the XP bonus is going. Around midnight EST I'll switch to my wizard and tentatively wait for the Xpack to go live and then switch in to Act 5. I don't expect any major issues either because the servers aren't even going down, the Xpack just gets activated and we can play from that moment on. Though it may cause some Queueing in the first few days/weeks (depending on success).

I've gotten my DH to mid 40's and my enjoyment level has fallen off. I cannot seem to find a build I really like. Mostly because I just dislike every one of the primary skills. I'm sure it won't be this way forever, and there are some skills I really like (such as Turrets). I'm gonna check around for a fun leveling build.

I'm just guessing at this since it's not live yet, but since it's the same patch that's live right now as the active expansion when it hits tonight (you don't even need to log out) there's no reason why someone shouldn't be able to join the game of someone who's playing with the expansion as long as you weren't in Act V.

You can join a multiplayer version of any quest you have already completed, or join any friends' game in any quest period. You cannot start a Torment level game until you are level 60, but you can join one earlier(not that there is any point aside from getting carried/leeching)

I don't know about non-expansion people joining expansion games, etc.

I think you need to beat the game first to unlock Master difficulty and be level 60 first before you can join a Torment 1+ difficulty game based on this:

Just to let you know, if you're already in a Clan, you could join the Blues News community group, that way you'll still be able to party up and chat with other Blues people on there. Think you have to search for the "Blues News" community group in the English (British) section.

There's a difference between clans (of which you can only belong to one) and community groups, which are more open and provide a chat channel to members independent of their clan affiliation. You can join as many groups as you want and exit/enter their chat at will.

It's live in Asia and I'm not hearing about doom and gloom and problems logging in or error 37, etc. Plenty of streamers live on it as well.
