In posting that? I assume so. It's surely a scam, as there's no Fallout 4 beta to generate keys for, but even if it wasn't a scam, that would not be something to post here.

pretty sad about them kicking out arndt. he's one of the best screenwriters in hollywood and i think would've brought a very humanist beauty to the films, something star wars desperately needed. with him i was all on board. without, i have my doubts. scifi pewpew brofests are good enough for trek, but star wars, even at its worst, was about deeper truths and i dont think JJ can manage that on his own.

Just use AnyDVD HD.
Like?!?!
Then use VLC Player http://www.videolan.org/ to play the disc that is in the drive.
AnyDVD HD takes care of the encrypted data (ie it decodes the encrypted AACS data) and lets the player play the disc as if it had no encryption. Simple to use and IMHO the best and most flexible solution for DVD/BluRay Playback on a home built PC.
You could go with something like a dedicated BluRay player software you buy but it is less flexible and puts lots of useless crap on your system like extra DRM modules.

The Thrawn Trilogy would be pure gold in film, if done right. It pretty much has all the epicness of the original trilogy in an expanded 3 book trilogy format.
People say this a lot, but I think they'd make kind of terrible movies. Things that work in movies don't necessarily make for great books, and vice versa. I'm looking at Heir to the Empire's plot summary on Wikipedia (it's been a long time since I read this) and don't really think this makes for great cinema. The climax is when the good guys activate the mole miners and the Empire just goes "Oh, well" and leaves.
You look at the Star Wars films, and you can break down each movie into segments like "rescue the princess", "Hoth battle", or "Endor battle", that keep things moving along - they're short, focused and reasonably exciting. But in the books there's a lot more going on, a lot of it's pretty talky, and a lot of the resolution isn't all that thrilling. Again, fine books but not necessarily good on the big screen.

I for one cant see the new Star Wars films as turning out as anything other than pure shit. Even if Lindeloff doesnt get withing 20 miles of the script we are missing the one important player who is simply the pivotal turning point of the first three films, erm the first six films that is. Without Darth Vader, Star Wars loses like 90% of its charm.
