Still have the occasional driver crash. Have to underclock the card just a little tad sometimes. Still unsure if it's hardware or software related. Guts say hardware since day 1.

I haven't used new drivers in forever because of the nasty freezing and bsods that started happening on my 560ti. I can't remember what version it started on but it is just stupid.

It's been mentioned here several times before, but switching the power mode to "max power" rather than "adaptive" seems to fix that for most people.

It fixes BSOD but, there are STILL freezes/stalling for a few secs at random times.
The Lame Stream Media in the USA these days is nothing more than a Democrat Party protection racket.

It looks that way.
I'll try it again tonight but I don't really care all that much. Euro Truck runs perfectly fine with my current driver

Yeah maybe. I ran the Nvidia experience thing and did not find any new drivers.

I was following a thread on the forum where a guy was testing 331 drivers and claims they have been rocksteady irt to the browser crash issue. 314 was the previous last stable driver iirc.

However, what fucks me up beyond all belief is that, for surround users, nVidia used to let the winkey-p option (change monitor output settings) control whether you wanted surround or single monitor (select duplicate). Since 331, they have implemented their own "shortcut" and turned off the winkey integration. Sum result, the rapid switch that was so easy is now non functional.

Also, all drivers post 327ish now blackscreen and hardlock your system on titles that try to enter surround mode but aren't particularly compatible. Previously, you'd just get a hideously stretched display but you could recover from it. And Geforce Experience is poo, 3 out of the four times letting it update has resulted in corrupted drivers.

But on the plus side, since 331, I'm not crashing every 15 f#cking minutes in PS2... And for all the spousal abuse nvidia engage in, their drivers are still better than the radeon ones.

Might give these a whirl in a week or so.

Yeah it's not a big deal or anything.

Btw, lots of users are reporting a "package corrupt" error through the Geforce Exp thing.

I was just coming back to edit my post so that I could include that warning. It appears the downloaded package is corrupt. I have tried 3 times, all corrupted.

edit: And now it works. Had to find and delete the update package and re-download.

I can find the driver update using the GeForce Experience software, but not through the site currently. I imagine if you don't want to use their software the update will appear at some point later today. maybe.

Search..

Results = GeForce R331 Game Ready Driver - WHQL

I never really bother with changing anything other than the OS since nvidias drivers are unified.

Weird. I hit search and it comes back with "No Drivers Found." Heh.
