BF4 Flickering Fix Tomorrow [Dec 19, 2013, 9:58 pm ET] – Share – Viewing Comments
EA announces that the flickering issue impacting multi-GPU systems introduced by
the recent Battlefield 4 patch will
be fixed tomorrow (thanks AngusThermopyle). Here's word from the
Battlefield Battlelog:
Just a quick note that we aim to fix the recent SLI/CrossFire flickering issue in a custom patch planned to go live Dec 20 (this might change.) We will get back with full patch notes as the update rolls out. During this deploy, there will be a period of downtime in multiplayer on all platforms. As always, visit the BF4 Control Room for the latest info.

Some people seem to think Star Wars Battlefront won't suffer this similar BF4 fate in the hands of publisher EA...

Never buy anything from Dice\EA again, since BF3 no thx. Since they have no intention in giving us a map editor to make better maps than the shit they give us, I cant be arsed in paying for shit 2 bit maps that are just the same as the old ones..

3D Vision Fix then I'll play the game. Until then, BF3 is good enough for me thanks!
We're going to fix the flickering before the holidays...because we need to introduce some even more horrible bugs before we leave on holiday. HOPE YOU ENJOY THEM, JERKWADS!
I think the new DLC maps are beyond terrible, but Im very happy about the SLI fixes 
I'm going to go buy some EA stock now.
I saw a bit of flickering in one of the new DLC maps. Nowhere else though.
I'm more concerned with the player tags not showing on friendlies bug being fixed
BTW three of the maps in China Rising are very cool, and 2 of them are fucking awesome. One of them (Guilin peaks) is the best map I've played in a first person shooter in a long time.

Yep, starts flashing when you enable SLI (2xGTX460). Goes away if you disable it. Looks like early beta of some really bad war game on an ATI Radeon with old drivers. Good times!
At least, it actually seems they fixed the crazy crashing all the time. So keep the patches rolling out, I say.
