The
Australian Classification Review Board announces the ratings of a dozen
games are being reevaluated at the request of the South Australian Attorney
General. The 12 games all initially received MA15+ ratings, which were the most
mature rating offered at the times of their releases, and the implication is
that they are now considering raising the ratings on some or all of them to the
new R18+ rating, which would further restrict their sales (thanks
GameSpot). Here are the games in question:
- Alien Rage
- Borderlands 2 Expansion Packs
- Company of Heroes 2
- Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut
- Deadpool
- Fuse
- Gears of War: Judgment
- God Mode
- Killer is Dead
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist
- The Walking Dead
- The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct
