Wow, this brings back memories of desperately rereading the bottom of the game boxes to verify that, yes, the computer will not in fact run USNF/Quake/Tomb Raider/TIE Fighter very well.
If I wanted to play this game, history would be repeating itself because I'm 2 GB short of the requirement. XD
Yeah, shit, I'm still only on 4 gigs. Granted I'm in the process of upgrading but I figured next mobo I get I'd be fine with 8 gigs of RAM. So is 6 going to be the new standard? So what will we really need at least? 8? 12?
Damn, if that's the kind of party it's going to be I'm going to stick my dick in the mashed potatoes!
RAM was pretty cheap last time I upgraded my box, so I have 12 in mine. That was from a couple years ago. I tend to multitask a lot, so I use quite a bit of RAM. I could work in a VM, have at least 100 browser tabs open, and can still run a game and just alt-tab out whenever I want. It's pretty nice. Don't really see needing more than that. You could probably get by for quite a while with 8 though.
