Out of the Blue

"In fourteen hundred ninety-two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue." Today is Columbus Day here in the U.S. As usual, I can't say if that will impact anything, because this holiday seems to generate lots of sales, but not necessarily a lot of time off, though I think schools may be closed today.

Had a blast with Creston, PHJF and whoever PR345 is in GTA Online, looking forward to playing with the rest of the crew soon. Thanks for tolerating my newbie guy, I had been skipping GTA Online until the connectivity stuff was worked out.

Anytime man. And don't scurry to an ATM, in your phone go to money&services, maize-bank, and deposit that way. There might be bad guys lurking near ATMs.

I’m PR345, ya flea-bitten varmint … I’m Riff-Raff Sam … the riffiest riff that ever riffed a raff!

After that survival match, I scurried to an ATM faster than I ever have before.

No need to risk running around looking for an ATM, just use your phone.

I also played with PR345 the other day, along with Creston PHJF and a few others. Then had couple great sessions with Bats and Puscifer. You guys are really improving my bank account

Yeah, that turned out to be a sneaky tough week. I was surprised to see I hadn't fallen at least a few spots.

Okay, so The Walking Dead's 'Season Premier' kicked off last night; other than some of the cheesy dialogue in the beginning of the episode, it wasn't too bad.

I fell asleep halfway through. The show is so much more boring compared to the comic now it's ridiculous. At least Abraham is joining this season and they seemed to have cast the perfect actor. Although with how they keep pushing Tyreese aside I'm not getting my hopes up.

Was a lot of Crew members online, but only a few of us played together. Was a blast. Me, Krovven, Same, and someone else, I forgot already. Invited the others, but no one joined us. Wow you get a TON of money in Survival!

/I ended up using an older Motorola 500 bluetooth earpiece. Seems to work okay. It is always on, so I am sure everyone had fun listening to my dogs, me, my wife, the kid, and everything else that went on. Oh well. I put my talk group to friends and crew only....got tired of the server spam. At least I remembered to leave it on the desk while I was taking a whiz....

Whoah wait a minute...

"Why do we continue to celebrate a holiday dedicated to someone who seems to be a fraud? " (From Columbus Deal

We might not have much holidays left if that was the measuring stick.

I trust little in the truth of a lot of history when it comes to individuals histories. We mess up news of the day let alone things happening a long time ago, with extremely limited communications they had back then. I mean if it weren't for communications today, we'd have a messiah in North Korea right now... look at his amazing feats.

I actually don't care for new biographies from people way in the past, called "more realistic and truthful portrait". I mean if we can't trust the official lines originating much closer to when it went down, what makes another guess hundreds of years later more accurate? It's almost always a negative slant as well... which aligns with controversy.... which aligns with ratings/money... which means I don't trust it. They case study these things to see what can sell and when they find one... they rewrite their history. We live in a facade.

Thief? Armed robber is more like it. More punks like that need to be executed like that.

And I still find it weird our Thanksgivings are a month apart.
"Van Gogh painted alone and in despair and in madness and sold one picture in his entire life. Millions struggled alone, unrecognized, and struggled as heroically as any famous hero. Was it worthless? I knew it wasn't."

I wondered why traffic was relatively good today, and still didn't realize today was Columbus day once I got to work and noticed there weren't as many people in as normal. So hooray for Clueless day.
