Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches DLC Next Month

The Bethesda Blog has information they teased yesterday about new DLC for Dishonored, revealing plans for The Brigmore Witches, an upcoming pack that will conclude the saga of Daud, and determine if this leads to darkness or redemption. The DLC will be released on August 13th for all editions of the game except the European PS3 version, which will follow the next day, and word is this will make use of saved games from The Knife of Dunwall DLC. They offer some screenshots and promised more details soon, and in the meantime this outline shows what to expect:
In The Brigmore Witches, continue your journey as the legendary assassin, Daud, and bring his twisted narrative that began with The Knife of Dunwall to a close. After discovering the identity and intentions of Delilah, the leader of the Brigmore Witch coven, you set out to disrupt her from completing a powerful ritual that will spell your doom. Having already been betrayed by your lieutenant, Billie Lurk, you must rely on feuding gang factions—the Dead Eels and the Hatters—to negotiate your way through previously unseen districts of Dunwall en route to Delilah’s stronghold. Regardless of the way you reach your destination, one thing is for certain – you will finally answer for your treacherous actions and fall before the mercy, or punishment, of the Royal Bodyguard and Assassin, Corvo Attano. Additionally, your power, weapon and item upgrades, Chaos level, and player actions from The Knife of Dunwall will carry over via a compatible save file option.

It's been a while since I played it, but I thought every time you got close enough the game popped a message onscreen telling you what to press for kill/incapacitate.

But then, I can understand why you might turn those off

hold `Parry` button from behind your enemy. (default is `Q` key I believe.)

Other than that what do you think of it?

Isn't it just hold the takedown button, versus a quick press to kill?

Creston

I tried getting close to a person & holding down the left mouse button but it did nothing & left mouse is a kill....I wonder if I have my keys mapped differently?

Yeah, I think I'm getting confused with another game maybe.

Challenge the Wrigmore Bitches!

Once I'm done with Borderlands 2 (I'm in the middle of Tiny Tina's DLC), I'm going to start with Dishonored. I hope it's good and gives me at least a bit of a Thief feeling.

For me it's press and hold the second mouse button.. I'm not sure if it's always that, or the block key.. which is what I remapped my second mouse button to.

I picked up the full game + knife DLC yesterday on the steam sale. Cool game.

Determine if this leads to darkness or redemption.

Redemption? Fuck that noise! Kill that bastard!
