When I moved I knew I could basically fit one console in my luggage, with the other going into storage for an unknown amount of time (I'd assumed 4 weeks.)

Well, it's now going to be 12 weeks, and the console I chose was the 360 (bringing with me Halo 4, Rage, BLOPS, Skyrim to play again, and something I can't remember) and left the PS3 in storage. Truthfully, I'd only played 4 PS3 games despite owning about 10 of them (Black Friday blues.)

I'm kicking myself. Amazon video looks much better on the 360 but I've been using Netflix more and my incredible TV is in storage, leaving me with a garbage Toshiba plasma that isn't visible in daytime. And, while I enjoyed State of Decay, I've played nothing else.

I'm dyyyyying for Last of Us. I bought the PS3 solely for the Uncharteds, and they were worth that investment. Last of Us seems like it may fix some of the Uncharted issues while retaining the writing that made those games so special.

They seem to got the humor right. There are gags that break the flow but still fit in. Replay value is low though. You can extend that a bit by erasing your upgrades and play the game like a first play through.
I bought it on Steam and use a controller and it plays fine. Yeah the camera can be in a bad spot. But that's normal.
Buy at release price? Hard to say. I think it's a discount buy for sure. It looks like I'll beat my first pass through at the 7 to 8 hour mark.

Yep, seems fun from what the Let's plays showed, but in no way worth full price. Hilarious they want 60€ for the console versions though. The game isn't worth a tenth of that.

So, a $5 buy?

Reviews mention it's just barely 5 hours of game with average gameplay... a typical Activision release
