I'm glad to Chivalry is still selling well. It's just pure stupid multiplayer fun.

I've tried Chivalry during the free weekend, but it is not for me.
I am enjoying the heck out of Rising Storm though.

I don't why there is so much hate for Alan Wake. I had bought it for the xbox years ago and really enjoyed it. At 4 bucks, I had to buy it and the addon. I gotta say, the PC version is pretty polished. It runs and looks great, it looks far better than the xbox version. I'm glad I bought it.

I don't know about "hate" for Alan Wake, but I will say "disappointment". I found it boring and over-hyped. I could not get myself to stay interested in the story or character long enough to come close to finishing the game.

Then again, to be fair, pretty much everything is over-hyped these days. Very few games can even come close to all the vast promises publishers and developers are willing to make during the pre-launch marketing.

Alan Wake is a great game up until about three quarters in. Then it becomes simply awful.

But yes, the port to PC is ultra smooth with great controls and visuals.

Doesn't everyone already own that?

Funny how when you do a single player only game right it sells like gangbusters.

I expect it to be back shortly, with the GOTY/Complete edition launching this week...

Alan Wake had one of the most nonsensical plots ever. It was like Stephen King wrote it on a bender.

I actually picked it up not too long ago with the $14.95 sale on gamersgate. I wanted it under $20 and that was under $20. Now I'm waiting on the DLC to go on sale.

Indeed. Its two sins were that it wasn't as good as game as it was hyped up to be, and the initial shafting of PC players when it went from being a PC game to an Xbox exclusive. The latter in particular is where most of the hate comes from.

But, my understanding is that its finally made it to PC and has been enhanced over the xbox version, including full mouse and keyboard support (and configurability).

I have no idea. The problem is free time. I still have Oblivion and didn't get far (still in the sewer).
