Same here, so when the game ends up being 7 hours tops for 60 bucks for a full playthrough are people supposed to be greatful "5 of 6 games worth of content" was cut?

People leaving could be bad, or could just be people moving on to new things. Stuff being cut could be good (i.e. refining and focusing the game down to it's core elements and removing superfluous content), or it could be bad, meaning they ran out of time/money to develop some things.

The biggest red flag was in October when a few key leads left the project, after some others had already left. You never know the whole story when these things happen but it leaves me very wary about the title.

Yep, I can see it now, Gamers all over pissed and saying. That didn’t look like that in the demo.

PC gamer seemed to really like it

Probably means that the things that were cut, if fully fleshed-out and fixed, could be stretched into five or six full games if published by someone like EA.
