US folks don't realise that people down here pay more for content and wait longer for it to be released than the US.
Back a few decades it would've made sense when things needed to be moved physically since OZ is far, far away.

Nowadays there is no reason why hardware or software should be 'delayed' or priced with a premium on top in Australia.

Of course there's a reason: Because they can!

You see, they sell shit for cheap in China, so they have to recoup those losses somewhere. That somewhere being, well... I think they pick at random.

Government blessed monopolies. Ain't it grand?
