Getting rich and making a profit are not related.... lot's of companies make their CEO's filthy rich without ever having a real profit. So the silicon valley is just a facsimile of the real business world.
This is what the Valley has become these past few years:
It’s wannabe journalists writing about wannabe investors giving money to wannabe entrepreneurs and everyone in the circle jerk believing that the whole thing makes perfect sense because, trust us.
