Anyway... I switched to Verizon because they have better coverage in the areas the my wife and I go motorcyling in. My friends would always have near full bars, and would have zilch on AT&T. Plus they put LTE in our area a year ago.
So, for me it has nothing to do with customer service or price (I think they equally suck)... it has to do with coverage. The commercial is right (for me)... "It's the Network, Stupid!" You're correct... but I didn't really mean landline. Though it does fit with what I was trying to say. I meant WAN line it just came out wrong. Still I hate the old terminologies since there are so many ways to supply what use to be considered a landline... like telcos referring to dial tone on fiber optics as POTS. It drives me nuts and it just doesn't make sense. |

My parents had to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon due to their rural home. Sprint, T-Mobile, etc. didn't work over there. |

Cellular phones were invented some thirty seven or thirty eight years ago (too lazy to Google it). The technology is great but never perfect. The quality of service still depends on location and the towers capacity. Not to mention the switching software and hardware.
So yeah, you can say one is better than the other... but they all still suck compared to a LAN line. |

Verizon is awesome but pretty expensive too. I've been with them for 13 year & honestly only have had maybe 1-2 small issues. |
