Ravaged Free DLC Plans

2 Dawn Games and Reverb Publishing announce a general roadmap for three upcoming free DLC packs to accompany the recent permanent price cut for Ravaged, their online vehicular first-person shooter. Here's word:

On Thursday, December 20, 2 Dawn Games’ first substantial content drop will hit Ravaged owners. The development team plans to deliver three free additions, the first of which will include an assortment of huge vehicles, new guns, maps — and new tech features.

The developer also will make available a new character skin, exclusive to players who bought their game from EA’s digital platform, Origin. Ravaged is the very first Kickstarter-funded game to be featured on EA’s growing digital distribution site.

Best known for its work on popular first-person shooters Desert Storm, Battlefield 2, and Frontlines: Fuel of War, the New York-based indie developer will offer gamers two additional DLC drops in January and February 2013 too.

Ravaged is available now and can be purchased on Steam and is not intended for younger audiences.

Good grief, a handful of servers, all empty. Shame, this game had potential but they released it far too soon.

They made a vehicle based combat first person shooter without investing enough time into making either of the two experiences fun.

It greatly suffers from feeling like an Unreal Tournament 3 mod, not a stand alone game.

These guys need to spend less time making fancy game trailers with "this is how we wish it would play" cinematics and more time figuring out ways to make it actually play that way.

It was 3.79 or 3.50 on a flash sale during the last steam sale, even that couldn't spark any interest.

interestingly when you click on "forums" from the steam page it doesn't take you to the steam forum for this game, just reloads the sales page. I guess they don't want uninformed people seeing the negative comments about it.

Very odd, this one... Launched with a regular price of $25, and like one month later it's down to $10 (or $5 during the sale). I think they overestimated their brand recognition, nobody knows who the hell Dawn Games is. Sorry!
